Mastercraft® Kitchens • Product Guarantee
We design and manufacture our kitchen cabinet products specifically to meet your needs, to be used in a normal domestic environment. Built for a continual usage in the home, we want your kitchen to last as long as possible for you. During an average kitchen life-time, your kitchen will get a lot of use and wear and tear. Just so you know, to keep it looking at its best, please make sure you regularly maintain your kitchen…and to help you we have put together advice on kitchen product maintenance and cleaning.

- Kitchen Contract or Order Number
- Proof of Purchase
- You’ll need to have properly maintained your kitchen as detailed in our Product Care Instructions.
- Proof that all Contract balances and installation balances were paid in full
What’s the product guarantee period?
A Mastercraft Kitchen guarantee covers the repair or replacement of any kitchen furniture component, manufactured by Mastercraft Kitchens, if it is found to be defective due to the manufacturing of the materials or workmanship.
On the occasion a component is no longer available we will replace it with a functional replacement part.
We offer a 25 year extended warranty period for kitchen carcase products, such as cabinet construction, carcase materials, including Blum hinges and Blum drawer components. (this excludes kitchen cabinet doors, trims and plant-on or wrap-around end panel products which have a warranty period of 5 years)
Your guarantee period commences from the date we delivered your product. If we replace your product the remaining period will transfer to your replacement product.
What’s not covered by the product guarantee?
If your kitchen is used in the way it’s intended and it breaks down within the guarantee period, we will repair or replace the parts affected. Here’s what isn’t covered:
- Consumable items, for example: batteries, filters, bulbs, belts, brush bars, fuses, tap washers etc.
- Fair, wear & tear, for example: scratches, marks and blemishes through usage, stains, chips, door hinge alignment, pull-out accessory alignment.
- Accidental damage

- Damage as a result of use not in accordance with the product instruction manual.
- Damage caused by not carrying out regular maintenance.
- Damage to cables or pipework.
- Blockages; blockages to waste pipes and waste traps for example
- Accidental damage caused by a knock or collision

- Faults caused by:

- Negligent use, misuse, neglect or careless operation;
- Use of any product which is not in accordance with the Instruction Manual.
- Use of a Mastercraft product for anything other than normal domestic household purposes.
- Use of parts, accessories and consumables, which are not genuine Mastercraft supplied components.
- Faulty installation, additional work or repairs – unless carried out by a bonafide Mastercraft installer/tradesman under our instructions.

What are the terms and conditions of the product guarantee?
The terms and conditions are as follows:
- The guarantee becomes effective from the date of delivery of the kitchen (or the start of the installation by a Mastercraft installer if this is later).
- You must provide proof that all payments have been made, including any installation balance that was due, before we can repair or replace any component under the guarantee. Please keep evidence of all payments made.
- The repair or replacement of kitchen components under guarantee will not extend the period of the guarantee.
- We will in most circumstances require evidence of the fault in question. This can be a photograph you supply or we may need to make a site visit.
- If we make a site visit, it will be our decision as to whether the fault is covered by the guarantee in accordance with the exclusions above.
- The guarantee provides benefits which are additional to and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Where is the guarantee valid?
- The guarantee is covered to the design and plan, and in the property in which it was fitted.
- If you dismantle any part of your kitchen or move it to a new location, even within the same property, the guarantee will be invalid, we will do our best to help you if you wish to alter your layout in the future.
Are the guarantees transferable?
Guarantees are transferrable with the sale of your property and any remaining period will continue. Here’s what you will need to provide
- The original proof of purchase from Mastercraft Kitchens.
- Evidence of any change of ownership.
- Evidence of full payment as detailed above
Appliances supplied and other third-party product guarantees
Electrical and gas appliances, sinks, taps and other products supplied by Mastercraft Kitchens but not manufactured by us are covered by the respective manufacturer’s own guarantee or warranty. It is your responsibility to register any kitchen product warranties as detailed in the product’s supplied paperwork within the time period allowed. We do not have an after-sales service or guarantee in relation to any product we do not manufacture.
Mastercraft® Kitchens Installation Guarantee
Installation work carried out by Mastercraft Kitchens’ authorised fitters carried out under our instructions is guaranteed for 12 months from the commencement of the installation.
What’s not covered by the installation guarantee?
If you uncover an installation fault within the guarantee period, we will repair or replace the parts affected or arrange to have the error rectified or reimburse the cost to have the rectification carried out. Here’s what isn’t covered:
- Consumable items, for example: batteries, filters, bulbs, belts, brush bars, fuses, tap washers etc.
- Fair, wear & tear, for example: scratches, marks and blemishes through usage, stains, chips, door hinge alignment, pull-out accessory alignment, loosened screws.
- Accidental damage
- Additional work carried out privately by our fitters under your instruction, paid or unpaid, that is not included in the schedule of works agreed in our original contract.
- Faults caused by:

- Negligent use, misuse, neglect or careless operation;
- Use of any product which is not in accordance with the Instruction Manual.
- Use of a Mastercraft product for anything other than normal domestic household purposes.
- Use of parts, accessories and consumables, which are not genuine Mastercraft supplied components.
- Faulty installation, additional work or repairs – unless carried out by a bonafide Mastercraft installer/tradesman under our instructions

- You must provide proof that all payments have been made, including any installation balance that was due, before we can repair or rectify any item under guarantee.
- The repair or replacement of kitchen components under guarantee will not extend the period of the guarantee.
- We will in most circumstances require evidence of the fault in question. This can be a photograph you supply or we may need to make a site visit.
- If we make a site visit, it will be our decision as to whether the fault is covered by the guarantee in accordance with the exclusions above.
- If you make an unlawful claim to your credit card issuer or a chargeback is made against us at any time your guarantee will become void and we may make a claim against you for any losses incurred.
- The guarantee provides benefits which are additional to and do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
