Kitchen Worktop Questions
Usually, a template appointment lasts for around 1 to 3 hours, depending on the kitchen’s size and design. The installation process itself takes about 2 to 3 hours, with the actual duration varying based on the kitchen’s size and the intricacy of the design.
You or a designated representative must be on-site during both the templating and installation processes. The templating phase helps finalise crucial decisions related to your worktops, such as joint placement, overhangs, and other essential finishing touches. To learn more, please speak to your designer for more information.
It’s also important for you to be present during the installation to confirm your satisfaction with the worktops and address any questions or concerns with our professional worktop installers.
The manufacturing process for Mastercraft Quartz and Granite worktops typically takes between 3 to 10 working days, depending on the order’s complexity. Within 24 hours of completing the template, you will receive an email or text with your installation date. We understand that installing a new kitchen is a significant undertaking, so on bigger installations with a longer lead time, we may provide temporary sink and worktop solutions to ensure you’re not inconvenienced while your new worktops are being produced. For our Corian worktops, the lead time is approximately 10 to 14 working days.
The cleaning instructions provided below apply to our Quartz, Granite, and Corian worktops. To maintain the cleanliness of your worktops, follow these simple steps:
- For everyday cleaning, use a soft white cloth and warm soapy water to gently clean the surface.
- For a more comprehensive weekly cleaning, apply window cleaner with a soft cloth. Make sure to dry the worktops thoroughly afterward.
- To remove stubborn stains from your worktops, use Bar Keepers Friend cream on a non-abrasive scourer. Apply it with light circular motions until the stain disappears. Afterward, wipe the area with a soft cloth and dry it thoroughly.
